About Bill
Bill is an award-winning producer, director, and documentary filmmaker. His multifaceted career spans over 30 years and includes commercial, documentary and industrial production as well as television and radio news. He has produced and anchored television news in major US markets, produced daily and weekly television programs, and taken his camera into such places as the mouth of Mount St. Helens and the paradoxical world of Rashneeshpurham

He has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards including the highly coveted George Foster Peabody Award for excellence in television journalism and the Gold Award of the New York International Film and Video Festival. One of his current passions is Media that Matters, a conference that brings together all facets of the media in a wilderness setting to discuss how to better serve society and the planet.

Bill is co-chair of the Victoria Independent Film Producers Association, and has served on the boards of the Victoria, B.C. film commission, Hollyhock, and the Power of Hope Canada. He and his wife Shivon Robinsong make their home in Victoria and on Cortes Island, B.C.
